dc.description.abstractU radu se analizira medijsko praćenje privatizacije Knjaza Miloša, najpoznatije srpske fabrike mineralne vode, i načina na koji su u tom procesu bile predstavljene multinacionalne kompanije. Kao najvažniji problem izdvojen je sukob različitih aktera i njihovih interesa u ovom procesu. U radu se analiziraju tri faze medijskog praćenja privatizacije. Prva faza obuhvata period od oktobra 2000. do septembra 2003. godine, kada se u medijima pojavljuju prve vesti o mogućoj privatizaciji Knjaza. Druga faza traje od avgusta 2003. do decembra 2003. kada se pojavljuju prvi potencijalni kupci. Treća faza obuhvata period od avgusta 2004. do septembra 2005. godine kada je Knjaz Miloš konačno privatizovan. Zaključak rada je da u medijima preovladava negativna slika o multinacionalnim kompanijama. Takva slika nije jasno ideološki obojena (kao što je to bio slučaj tokom 1990-ih) i ređe se otvoreno iskazuje, ali je opšti stav skeptičan, iako su u potpunosti poznate vrednosti mutinacionalnih kompanija za našu ekonomiju i važnost njihovog učešća u privatizaciji.sr
dc.description.abstractThis study analyses the media coverage of the privatization of Knjaz Miloš, Serbia's most famous mineral water factory, as well as the manner in which the multinational companies were presented in this process. The focus of the paper is on the conflict between major stakeholders as they were presented in media texts. Three phases of the privatization process are analysed. The first phase is the period from October 2000 to September 2003, when the news about privatization came out in the media; the second phase is from August 2003 to December 2003, when the first potential buyers appeared; and third is the period from August 2004 to September 2005, when Knjaz Miloš was finally privatized. The conclusion of this analysis is that a negative image of multinational companies prevails in the domestic media. Such an image is not ideologically coloured (as it was in the 1990s) and is seldom openly presented. The general attitude is sceptical, even though an awareness of the importance of the participation of multinational companies in the process of privatization is present.en
