Рекогносцирање леве обале Велике Мораве на територији општине Параћин

Abstract

У циљу побољшања система заштите археолошке баштине, 2020. године започета су систематска рекогносцирања територије општине Параћин. Захваљујући живој активности параћинског музеја, од његовог оснивања сакупљени су подаци за приближно 120 археолошких налазишта на територији општине. Међутим, у области западне обале реке Велике Мораве, која обухвата равничарски појас и брдовите источне обронке планине Јухор, до сада је било евидентирано само седам локалитета од праисторије до средњег века, што по густини не одговара осталим равничарским деловима централног Поморавља. Због тако малог броја налазишта, али и јаке речне ерозије Велике Мораве, која већ деценијама односи хектаре ораницa у том делу речног тока, сматрали смо да ова област има приоритет у погледу теренских рекогносцирања. Тако је у првој половини 2020. године обављена детаљна проспекција терена на поменутом подручју и утврђени су прецизни положај и границе већ постојећих и новооткривених налазишта. Циљ овог рада је објављивање резултата рекогносцирања, али и њихова валоризација и поређење с претходно откривеном грађом из збирке Музеја.

We are presenting in this paper the most recent results of systematic site surveying of the territory of Paracin municipality, i.e. the west bank of the Velika Morava river that had been carried out in the 2018. Thanks to the dynamic activity of the Paraćin Museum since its foundation, the information for about 120 archaeological sites from the territory of the municipality has been collected. Nevertheless, in the area of the west bank of the Velika Morava river that includes the lowlands but also eastern hillsides of the Juhor mountain only 7 sites dating from the prehistory to the Middle Ages have been recorded so far and that does not correspond, regarding the density, to the other lowlands in the central Morava valley. Because of such small number of sites but also because the strong river erosion of the Velika Morava, which, for decades, washes off the hectares of arable land in this zone of the river valley, we were of the opinion that this area has the priority and potential for further investigations in particular for the site surveying. In order to obtain more complete cultural and chronological picture, the data from the survey are supplemented with published and unpublished results of earlier investigations conducted by authorized institutions. The ultimate goal was to locate the new sites and to establish their boundaries but also to check on the previously identified sites. Particularly interesting results were obtained in the course of investigation the areas of the villages Svojnovo, Potočac and Raševica, while from the territories of the villages Trešnjevica and Sinji Vir we have first registered sites. We think that overview of all the sites investigated so far will make easier future investigations of this area of the Paraćin municipality and complete the cultural and chronological picture of settling the west bank of the Velika Morava river.
