Празновање св. Константина и Јелене у средњовековној Србији (према српским минејима XIII и XIV века)

Abstract

Служба светом цару Константину и његовој мајци Јелени ушла је у састав најстаријих српских минеја XIII и XIV века. Два најстарија преписа сачувана су у рукописима бр. 361 Архива САНУ и бр. 647 Народне библиотеке Србије у Београду. Упоређени су структура и састав обеју служби, као и текстолошке одлике преписа. Мада се истраживање темељи на ова два преписа, уведени су и неки други преписи XIV века да би се што боље представио репертоар химнографских текстова који су улазили у састав поменуте Службе. Све службе које се у овом раду разматрају разликују се у свим раније поменутим елементима, што показује да у српској богослужбеној пракси тог доба није постојала строга једнообразност.

The service to the Holy Emperor Constantine and his mother Helena was included in the oldest Serbian menaions of the 13th and 14th century. The oldest copies are preserved in the manuscripts #361 of the SASA Archive and #627 of the collection of the National Library in Belgrade. A third service has also been included in this analysis, namely the one from the manuscript #145 of the Hilandar Monastery collection. The Hilandar service is dated to approximately same time as the one in the National Library collection. This paper offers a comparison of the three texts according to their structure and contents as well as the textological traits of the copies. For a better overview all three versions of the service to Saint Constantine and Helena have been published parallelly with an emphasis on the most prominent textological differences. Of course, some other questions regarding the differences between the translations remain to be discussed in some future studies. Moreover, the published copies offer an overview of the possible choices of hymnographic text for the service in question. The relationship between the services NBS #64 and Hilandar #145 is of particular interest as it demonstrates that the Serbian liturgical practice of the 14th century allowed an equal use of menaions that both differed in contents and combined new texts with older and newer translations that had been included in this service since mid-13thcentury. The texts analyzed in this paper reveal a notable variety within the Serbian liturgical practice prior to the introduction of the Jerusalem typicon.
