Историјска основа приповедака Чудни подвижник, Вујка Белошева и Маниташко котило Григорија Божовића

Abstract

У раду је на основу доступне, пре свега, необјављене, али и објављене архивске грађе, те наративних извора, у мањој мери периодике и односне литературе анализирана историјска основа трију приповедака Григорија Божовића. Анализа приповедака Чудни подвижник, Вујка Белошева и Маниташко котило показује да је Божовић мењао имена личности и поједине детаље догађаја које је описивао, али да његова литерарна обрада догађаја које је описивао суштински не одступа од чињеница.

The paper analyzes historical basis of three short stories by Grigorije Božović on the basis of available, primarily unpublished, but also published archival material, and narrative sources, and to a lesser extent periodicals and related literature. The analysis of the stories “Čudnipodvižnik”, “VujkaBeloševa” and “Manitaškokotilo” show that Božović changed the character names and certain details of the events he described, but that his literary interpretation of the events he described did not deviate from the facts. The story of the “Čudnipodvižnik” gives accurate biographical data of Archpriest Stojan D. Popović. The central event of the story, the murder of Met Firaya, however, cannot be proven. The murder appears to be his literary interpretation, as Prota (Archpriest) did not mention it in two statements published in the press. The central event described in “VujkaBeloševa’s” story, the murder committed by a widow, is presented as it had happened in reality. Names, places of origin, characters have been changed, while the motive for the murder of the widow’s husband is probably a literary interpretation. In “Manitaškokotilo” Božović did not change the names of the protagonists, like he did in the previous two stories. The plot of the story, on the other hand, is not presented in accordance with the facts, but it represents the fruits of his literary imagination.
