Списак свију цркава и манастира Рашко-призренске епархије 1902. године

Abstract

Списак свију цркава и манастира у епархији Рашко-Призренској представља листу цркава и манастира на подручју Рашко-призренаке митрополије 1902. године. У главном делу садржи поименични списак 98 цркава, капела и манастира и 7 храмова у развалинама. Поред тога, у виду додатка, садржи и списак од 5 црквених развалина у гњиланској околини. Аутор документа је протојереј Стеван Димитријевић, а састављен је за потребе женског хуманитарног друштва Одбор госпођа Књaгињa Љубицa, коме је основни циљ био помагање православних цркава и манастира на простору Османског царства.

This paper presents the list of churches and monasteries in the RaskaPrizren Eparchy made in 1902. The main part of the list contains a register of 98 churches, chapels and monasteries and 6 churches in ruins. In addition, it has a list of 5 church ruins in the Gnjilane area. This document created Stevan Dimitrijevic, for the needs of the Knjaginja Ljubica Ladies’ Committee that was founded as humanitarian society with the aim to help Orthodox churches and monasteries in the territory of the Ottoman Empire. A comparison with the lists created for various needs in 1899, 1909, and 1913, and with the familiar literary sources, shows that there are 30 churches left out from the list. Those churches were not in function due to the lack of liturgical objects or priests, or even because of the existence of newly built churches that became center of village religious life. Although in almost every village in the Eparchy there were church ruins, the list contains only 11, probably because of their practical use, and not because the importance they had for the local and national tradition.
