This document serves to summarize relevant data the position of young people in the labor market in Serbia with the aim of raising awareness of current positive and negative trends. In 2018, according to the Central Bureau of Statistics population, there were 762,742 in Serbia young people aged 15 to 29, which is 18% of the total population. The topic of the report is to get acquainted with NEET youth, those who are not in education and training systems and those who are not employed. Here we show what it means to be young person in NEET status in Serbia and Europe. In doing so, we believe it is important to keep track of indicators for the NEET group, given that young people who belong to it are at particular risk of poverty and long-term unemployment.sr
