Speech, language and primitive mental states
Abstract
This text will be concerned with theoretical and clinical implications of spoken language within the context of the therapeutic (transference) situatation. Structural and dynamical characteristics of spoken logos (its semiotic, semantic and prosodic functions) will be analysed within the framework of the modern critical psychoanalysis. In the hermeneutical background of this analysis will be the (technical and theoretical) problem of dealing with the primitive mental states. This states are unmentalized, unsimbolized and cognitively unreachable.
