Teacher Training in Adult and Vocational Education – some experiences
Апстракт
The Republic of Serbia in 2000th has began the reform of the entire system of education, including adult education and vocational education. The strategic documents on adult education reform especially emphasized the need for educating and preparing teachers and trainers for adult education. Vocational education reform also emphasized the need of improving pedagogical-andragogical competencies of teachers, principals and other manager staff in secondary vocational schools. The authors of this work have created and realized teacher training seminars in area of vocational education, as well as in adult education area. The main intention of these trainings was to improve the level of teachers pedagogical-andragogical competence, in secondary vocational schools at one side, and in adult education, on the other side. Since training participants have been, at the same time performers of different education programmes in other education institution as well (i.e. in institutions of adult educa...tion, and in institutions for secondary vocational education), that fact enriches our experience, and spread out possibility for further comparison and analysis. Which are the similarities and distinctions in conceptual approaches, implementation and evaluation strategies in teacher training programmes of different target groups, we consider the most relevant questions we tried to answer.
