Karakteristike motivacije u procesu vaspitanja

Abstract

U radu se razmatra značaj motivacije učenika u procesu vaspitanja, sa posebnim osvrtom na karakteristike motivacije za učenje i saznavanje. U procesu vaspitanja mogu se formirati dva opšta modela motivacije - spoljašnja i unutrašnja, a često se javi i oblik motivacije kod učenika koji predstavlja sintezu elemenata ova dva posebna modela motivacije. Osnovni pokazatelj unutrašnje, intrinzičke motivacije kod učenika u različitim aktivnostima učenja i saznavanja čine određene samostalne i samom prirodom predmeta saznavanja motivisane aktivnosti koje učenik izvodi u okviru određenih postupaka saznavanja. Ti postupci i aktivnosti saznavanja, po svojoj prirodi, predstavljaju odraz interesovanja i zadovoljstva samim činom bavljenja određenim predmetom saznavanja i one su osnovni činilac motivacije. Motivacija je individualna pojava i jedna grupa vaspitanika/učenika je veoma heterogena prema karakteristikama modela motivacije pojedinih članova grupe, mada se mogu izdvojiti i određeni karakteristični modeli motivacije za određene podgrupe unutar grupe kao celine. Određene karakteristike sadržaja nastavnog gradiva imaju poseban značaj za pojačavanje interesovanja učenika za učenje i saznavanje i te karakteristike sadržaja treba uzeti u obzir prilikom konstituisanja sadržaja nastavnog gradiva u okviru nastavnog programa.

The paper discusses the importance of students' motivation in the process of education and focuses primarily on the features of motivation related to learning and cognition. Usually two general models of motivation are formed in the education process - extrinsic and intrinsic motivation, but not infrequent among students is a form that synthesizes the characteristics of both models. Certain individual activities, determined by the very nature of the content of cognition, that a student performs within the frame of particular cognition procedures while engaged in different learning and cognitive activities can be regarded as basic indicators of their intrinsic motivation. The procedures and the activities employed in cognition, by their nature, are the reflection of the interest and satisfaction induced by the very act of dealing with a particular content of cognition, and they are fundamental for motivation. Motivation is a purely individual phenomenon and each group of students is heterogeneous regarding the characteristics of the motivation models of its individual members, although some model types, characteristic for certain subgroups within a group, can be defined. Further, certain characteristics of the teaching content are especially important for enhancing students' interest in learning and cognition and these should be considered when selecting teaching materials.
