The paper is dedicated to the analysis of both the iconography and symbolic meaning of the fresco of Christ Pantocrator in the dome of the church of the Virgin Hodegetria in the Patriarchate of Pec (between 1335-1337) in Metochia. It points out the characteristics of its iconography and analogies of that iconographic solution. It also deals with a symbolic meaning of this figure of Christ in a broad sense - as a dome figure, and in a narrow sense - in the context of the dome program of the Virgin church in the Patriarchate of Pec (the psalm in the dome, the scene of the Heavenly Liturgy and the texts of the prophets in the tambour).
