Aleksandra Novakov: Stubovi srpske prosvete - srpske srednje škole u Osmanskom carstvu 1878-1912, Zavod za udžbenike, Beograd, 2017

Abstract

U radu je dat osvrt na monografiju dr Aleksandre Novakov Stubovi srpske prosvete, srpske srednje škole u Osmanskom carstvu 1878-1912. Pre iznošenja strukture i značaja dela ukratko je iznet opšti istorijski kontekst u kome je delovala srpska prosvetno-politička aktivnost u Osmanskom carstvu u decenijama koje su prethodile Prvom balkanskom ratu. Izneti su dometi i značaj monografije za srpsku nauku.

This paper presents a review of the monograph The Pillars of Serbian Education, Serbian Secondary Schools in the Ottoman Empire 1878-1912 by Dr. Aleksandra Novakov. Prior to presenting the structure and significance of the work, there is a brief outline of the general historical context in which Serbian educational and political activity had operated in the Ottoman Empire in the decades preceding the First Balkan War. The scope and the significance of the monograph for Serbian science were highlighted.
