Televizijski "kovid-narativi" o starijim osobama u Srbiji

Abstract

Rad će se u načelu pozabaviti načinima na koje se u medijima tokom epidemije virusa SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) govorilo o starijim osobama. Osnovni analitički materijal biće konferencije za medije najviših držanih zvaničnika i članova Kriznog štaba. Vremenski opseg analize obuhvatiće mesece mart i april 2020. godine, kao period uvođenja vanrednog stanja i vrhunac epidemijskog talasa. Analiza će prevashodno biti usmerena ka potrazi za preovlađujućim načinima označavanja starijih osoba. U tom smislu izdvojiće se osnovne oznake kojima su označavane starije osobe, centralni motivi povezani sa tim označavanjem i njihova veza sa vremenskim opsegom analize. Posebna pažnja će se obratiti na moguće funkcije koje je mehanizam označavanja mogao vršiti.

The paper will in general address the ways in which the elderly were talked about in the media during the epidemics of SARS-CoV-2. The basic analytical material will be press conferences of the highest state officials and members of the Crisis Staff. The time scope of the analysis will cover the months of March and April 2020, as the period of the introduction of the state of emergency and the peak of the pandemic wave. The analysis will primarily focus on the search for the predominant ways of labeling the elderly. In that sense, the basic markings that marked the elderly, the central motives that the marking produced, as well as their connection with the previously set time levels will be distinguished. Special attention will be paid to the possible functions that the marking mechanism could perform.
