Војислав Илић и Овидије: класициста и његова инспирација

Abstract

У песмама Војислава Илића, поред низа утицаја антич­ ких аутора и дела, изузетно је јак утицај Овидија, нарочито тема и мотива из његових Метаморфоза. Ове Овидијеве мотиве Илић je делом преузео преко песама руских аутора, нарочито А. С. Пушкина и М. Ј. Љермонтова, а делом се са њима и сам упознао. Овакво и оволико знање о Овидију и његовом делу несумњиво потврђује веће Илићево познавање античке књи­ жевности него што се то обично сматра. Очигледни су Овидијеви утицаји у Илићевим песмама Ниоба, Мраморни убица, Плач Афродите над Адонидом, Бајка о јасици, Тибуло.

This pa­per is an at­tempt to show the in­flu­en­ce of an­ti­qu­ity and an­ci­ent wri­ters, par­ti­cu­larly Ovid, exer­ted on the po­e­try of the fa­mo­us Ser­bian po­et Vo­ji­slav Ilić, was gre­a­ter than usu­ally as­su­med. The in­flu­en­ce of an­ti­qu­ity,so­me­ti­mesin­di­rectly, lar­gely thro­ugh Rus­sian li­te­ra­tu­re (espe­ci­ally Pus­hkin and Le­r­mon­tov), and so­me­ti­mes directly, thro­ugh know­led­ge of the works of an­ci­ent aut­hors, is one of the main fe­a­tu­res of po­e­try of Vo­ji­slav Ilić (1860–1894). Mo­tifs from Ovid’s Me­ta­morp­ho­ses and mo­tifs re­la­ted to tho­se of Ovid’s Me­ta­morp­ho­ses are en­co­un­te­red in many Ilic’s works, especi­ally in the po­ems Ti­bul­lus and Mar­ble Kil­ler, de­a­ling with the mo­tif of Pygma­lion and Pyrr­ha, ta­ken from the Tenth Bo­ok of Ovid’s Me­ta­morp­ho­ses.
