Techniques and instruments in empirical research of family education
Апстракт
Tema ovog rada je prikaz rezultata istraživanja koja su se bavila prikupljanjem, sistematizacijom i evaluacijom instrumenata za ispitivanje porodičnog vaspitanja. U osnovi, prikazom su obuhvaćene dve publikacije (Handbook of family measurement techniques 1990, Ed. Touliatos et al. i Handbook of family measurement techniques, 2001, Ed. Touliatos et al) u kojima je obuhvaćen period od početka 20. veka do danas. Koncepcijske osnove, tehnike istraživanja instrumenti i njihove karakteristike, kao i moguće preporuke za buduća istraživanja, predstavljaju pitanja koja čine sadržaj ovog rada. U celini gledano, tokom čitavog perioda istraživanja su se uglavnom oslanjala na samoizveštaje roditelja i dece, u formi skale. Primetno je odsustvo koherentne teorijske osnove i detaljnije evidencije o kvalitetu instrumenata, ali i bogatstvo i raznovrsnost varijabli koje se proučavaju.
The paper presents the results of the research that dealt with collecting systematization and evaluation of instruments applicable in family education research. Presented are, basically, two publications (Handbook of Family Measurement Techniques,1990. Ed. Touliatos et al., Handbook of Family Measurement Techniques, 2001, Ed. Touliatos et al) which report on the research undertaken in the 2O.c. On the whole, throughout the century, the research relied mainly on parents' and children's self-reports, usually presented in a form of a scale. That is why the fundamental concepts research techniques, instruments and their characteristics, as well as some suggestions for the future work are the key issues of this presentation since there is an evident lack of both a coherent theoretical basis and a detailed record on the quality of the instruments, especially with regards to the multitude and diversity of the variables to be examined.
