Средњовековна жупа Дабар између Србије и Босне

Abstract

Рад се бави опсегом и територијом жупе Дабар, њеном организацијом и поделом на две целине око 1373. У раду су обрађени и градиви и тврђаве на територији Дабра.

The Dabar zhupa includes Lower Polimlje from both sides of the Lim river and is from the earlyfeudal period as it is mentioned in records dating from the 12th century. It belonged to the state of king Dragutin (1282 – 1316), and later to the Lim land that included within it lower and middle Polimlje. In 1373, when the Lim land disintegrated, the Dabar zhupa also broke up into several pieces and the border was established on the Lim river. From its time the Dabar zhupa is associated with the territory spreading on the right coast of the Lim. Dabar had two centres: Banja Pribojka with St Nicholas and Dobrun. Heritage estates around the first centre were ownHG E\ WKH 9RMLQRYLü IDPLO\ whereas those around Dobrun were held by the family of zhupan Pribil. There were another five towns – fortresses in Dabar: Klek, Jagan, Severin, a town in Budimlje and a town in Kukrovići.These forts protectedthe border between Serbia and Bosnia together with more important roads.
