Од сиромашног ђака до државника: Јован Ристић и Крагујевац

Abstract

Рад се бави утицајем који је Крагујевац, као родно место и као престоница, имао на Јована Ристића. Такође се бави његовим детињством, родитељима, Ристом и Маријом. Посебно је скренута пажња на однос Милоша Обреновића и младог Јована Ристића. Рад је написан на основу литературе, објављених извора, необјављене архивске грађе српске и немачке провинијенције.

Historical sources and historiography, do not give much facts about Jovan Ristić childhood. Jovan Ristić, also, in his works never spoke about his private life and his young years. It is known that he was born in a poor family in Kragujevac. His father Rista, who died in his early years, was forced to take different jobs, in order to sustain his family. In his Autobiography, that he wrote in Heidelbreg in 1852, Ristić especially emphasized the influence of his mother, Marija, in his emotional and intellectual development. Kragujevac, as a capital of Principality of Serbia, and as the birth place of Jovan Ristić, had a significant influence on his personal and political developement. As a place with some2000 people, Kragujevac was not a big town. Jovan Ristić grew up close to the Institutions of the State. More importantly, Ristić grew up next to the institution of the state ruler, precisely, the charismatic personality of prince Miloš Obrenović.
