dc.description.abstractU radu se bavimo značajem i aktuelnošću osnovnih postavki Herbartove koncepcije vaspitanja. Rad je strukturiran u tri poglavlja: prvo se odnosi na Herbartovo shvatanje prirode deteta, drugo na njegovo shvatanje uloge vaspitanja u razvoju ličnosti, a treće na njegovo viđenje same suštine vaspitanja (pojmovno određenje, odnos vaspitanja i obrazovanja). Za razliku od interpretacija Herbartovih osnovnih postavki u reformskim pedagoškim pravcima s kraja XIX i s početka XX veka, savremena kritika ističe njihov značaj i aktuelnost, posebno u pogledu stanovišta da priroda deteta u početku njegovog razvoja nije ni dobra ni loša, već da to postaje pri dejstvu spoljašnjih činilaca i da je najznačajniji faktor čovekovog razvoja vaspitanje, čija je suština u svesnom i organizovanom nastojanju da se putem obrazovanja pomogne razvoju moralnog karaktera čoveka.sr
dc.description.abstractThe topic of this paper is importance and actuality of the basic postulates of Herbart's concept of upbringing. The paper has three chapters. The first chapter is about Herbart's understanding of the child's nature, the second is about the role of upbringing in personality development and the third is about the essence of upbringing (term determination, relation of upbringing and education). Herbert's basic postulates about reform pedagogues' ideas from the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century, contemporary critics stress its importance and actuality, particularly concerning the idea that nature of the child at the beginning of its development is neither good nor bad, but it becomes so owning to outer factors and that the most important factor is upbringing, which role is conscious and organized endeavoring to help development of the moral character of a man.en
